Monkey D. Luffy

Monkey D. Luffy (D, Monki- D. Rufi), a 17-year-old boy, is the primary protagonist of the One Piece series and is the captain of the Straw Hat Pirates. His dream is to become the Pirate King. He is portrayed as carefree and sometimes air-headed and has a huge appetite, especially for meat. As a child, by accidentally eating a Devil Fruit his body gained the properties of rubber. Luffy is voiced by Urara Takano in the original video animation (OVA) and by Mayumi Tanaka in the Japanese version of the anime. In the English dubs, he is voiced by Erica Schroeder for 4Kids by Chuck Powers for Odex[citation needed] and by Colleen Clinkenbeard for Funimation

Abilities

Gomu Gomu no Rifle

shows off his stretching powers with this move, twisting his arm behind him, then releasing it. The punch goes pretty far, about 3 body lengths

Gomu Gomu no Stamp

kicks his leg at a 45 degree angle, stretching his foot out to attack above enemies

Gomu Gomu no Ballon

inflates his body to reflect blunt weapons and bullets from gun fire

Gomu Gomu no Spear

stretches both his legs down to strike like a spear

Gomu Gomu no Gatling gun
barrages his opponent with blurringly fast punches

Gomu Gomu no Bazooka

stretches both his arms back, before snapping them forward to create a super strong double palm strike

Gomu Gomu no Pistol

spins his arm around and then throws this fist foward for a strong punch

Gomu Gomu no Axe
kicks his leg up vertically, then brings it down for a thunderous impact
